Tanner Goods "Skinny Standard" Belt

I bought this unisex belt last year in size 34 to wear as a hip belt or around bulky sweaters in the winter. However, I'm just not a belt person and I've only worn it once. It's a fantastic item, nearly brand new, and needs to be with someone who will use it-- this will last decades if treated right. It's handmade in Portland, Oregon in black English bridle leather with black hardware. Here's the description from the Tanner Goods website:

Constructed from 10/11 oz vegetable-dyed English Bridle leather, it features a matching leather keeper and a handful of hardware choices. The edges are dyed, burnished and waxed by hand and each belt is stamped with our signature maker's mark.

Belt width: 1"

Paid: $80. Asking: $60, including shipping in the U.S.

Here is a not-great pic of me wearing the belt with size 29 jeans.

Listing ends August 22nd

  3. Of course! Could you explain me the sizing? How long is this belt? I want to wear it with jeans, what is your size approximately?
    Thanks ;)

  4. Maybe you can also send me a pic of the belt in worn condition? I'm just worried it might be too long.

  5. Valerie, the belt is a total of 42 inches long. It's 34 inches to the first hole. I generally wear a size 29 jean (my hips at their widest are about 38"). I hope that helps. If I can, I'll try to get another picture, but it will take a few days.

  6. Thanks! Would still be great to see the photo, sorry to bother you as much...don't completely understand the us sizing. I'm mostly a 29 in jeans to, and my hips are 36 at the widest. I understand you chose it larger to wear it over sweaters and on hips while I want to wear it with pants and jeans, slightly higher than the hips mostly.

  7. OK, there's the pic! The buckle looks a bit distorted in the pic, it's not quite that big. But you get the idea.
