ANGELA SERRATORE, please contact me regarding all my previous e-mails. I have not received the Frye Jane 14L boots I already paid for via PayPal on May 27. Please contact me at genevieve(at)enth(dot)net immediately with some kind of response (tracking # and delivery service used especially!) so I can stop acting paranoid about being possibly ripped off.   1. i'm not Angela, but I really hope you get to the bottom of this. This person hasn't gotten back to you in over two weeks?! That is just not right. I hope/think Paypal is able to help you if this person is a fraud.

  2. Contact PayPal or the credit card you use with PayPal & fill a stop payment re. this. Good luck, what a pain in the arse.

  3. open a case on paypal! you have a 45 day limit where you can do this and make sure you dont miss this timeframe

  4. I would dispute it on your credit card first, then dispute it on PayPal as well. Credit card companies are great about taking charges off immediately if you file a complaint. But do it quickly!

  5. @all: Thank you so much for the advice and support. In all the years I've been on LoGE, *never* has this happened. Please be careful out there--it's just too easy to get swindled online. LoGE is such a fantastic community, it sucks people are taking advantage of that goodness.

  6. I am wondering... is there a way to start a list of some sort for participants who were dishonest? It sucks that something like this happened. It is definitely a rare occurrence in my experience, but a sucky one when it does happen. Good luck!
