During the fall of 2006, I hemmed and hawed over this coat. Unfortunately, everyone else was also on that same wavelength as it was nowhere to be found in the XS. I am sure, however, we've all been there. So obsessed with obtaining this one piece that come Fall of 2007, I stalked the internet to find it until lo and behold it was on Ebay, new with tags attached at a $420 winning bid. Unfortunately, it is time for me to face the music. Over the past few years, the coat has not gotten much circulation and as much as I would like for it to work on my 5'2" frame, I find that it simply overwhelms it and I have not been able to make it wardrobe a basic. And since I have been trying to be more ruthless in editing down more wardrobe, this beauty must go. So here's to someone who can give this a good home and wear it with flair like Andrea did in the Sartorialist post!
