Congrats, Qing!
I bought this dress at the designer sale about a month ago at the Mociun pop-up shop. Since it was rather busy and there weren’t any proper dressing rooms available, I just tried it on over the dress I was wearing, which wasn’t the best of methods, looking back. I guess I just wanted the dress that badly. But after trying it on properly at home, I realized it’s not really my style (no matter how badly I want to wear baggy, pseudo-androgynous styles, I just can’t pull them off). Some deets:
FIRSTLY, the pictures I took don’t do the dress justice, so if you’re interested, go here to see a video of the dress, both in full and of me wearing it.
Designer: Mociun
Materials: Gauzy overlay (not sure of material) and silk slip
Colors: Ocean-colored overlay (varying shades of blue and teal) and cream slip
Size: Not marked, but is baggy and definitely can fit at least up to a size 10. The slip, on the other hand, is really short and tighter. I would say it would fit a size 4 at most (though I can certainly wear it, and I’m a size 6…it’s just too short).
Worn: never, NWOT
Additional information: A sample from the Fall 2010 season (at least that’s my guess, as I can’t find any exact matches for the piece on the Mociun site). Is sleeveless, with a racerback back, faux hood (as I like to call it), and attached ties.
Purchased for: $100
Asking: $85, domestic shipping included (the difference for international shipping can be added)
Listing ends: June 30th
